Doug Turner is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon based at the John Flynn Hospital on the Gold Coast. After completing his Orthopaedic training in Queensland he spent a further year of Fellowship training in London and a further two years in New Zealand before returning to the Gold Coast where he has practiced since 1986.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He specialises in diseases and injuries of the Musculoskeletal System and their surgical and non-surgical treatment.
