  General Notes:

Bowen, Named after the Scout movement leader who visited Bowen. Also a street named after him there, Powel St, where George Baden Powell Turner lived. Managed the Bowen Fruit Export after George Snr retired. Didn't continue in this position for long. Ran a "rag shop" (dress shop) and also a cafe in the Turner buildings in Bowen. Died a few years later. ^13,37
