 General Notes:
Came to Australia 1887 on the Dacca, with her husband. She would have been aged 42yrs and gave her age as 38 yrs in the Dacca manifest. Later lived in the Laidlaw Parade house in Brisbane, built for her by her daughter, who had come out ahead of the rest of the family. The house was in Tini's name. They lived there for many years (?40). Charcoal drawing of the the senior Learmonths, possibly a touched up photo, with curved glass and plaster frame, is in possession of Beryl Turner. 7 children including twins born in Bridgeton, Glasgow, from 1866 to 1880.
Photo of gravestone sent by Drew Learmonth, the grave restored by Marj Atkinson. Inscription reads:
"In memory of my beloved wife Christina, and our dear mother who was called home 28th Feb 1821 in her 77th year, erected by her loving husband Andrew Learmonth ........" 13,45,94,99,143,144
