1880: William was a Mechanic, living in the home of Hiram Bellows who was his wife's Brother-in-Law. Eveline was a Milliner whose father was born MA and mother NY. With them are Mary 6 yrs born Nebraska; Jessie 2 yrs born Nebraska. They were living at Fremone, Dodge, Nebraska.
William b. Berwickshire, Scot. c. 1848 - m. Eline (possibly Eloise) Kilton of New York State, U.S. (daughter of Simeon & Charlotte Blanchard Kilton, who are both buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclairville, N.Y., just south of Lake Erie) - Wm. and Eline were married in Fremont, Nebraska (source: Dodge Co., NE Marriage Records, Bk. C 1871-1877) on 27 Mar 1873 - had a fine farm with thoroughbred stock - later sold it & went into the milling business (brother James' obituary says William ended up in Colorado, still living in 1909) - 2 sons & 2 dau's - have not found a death record for William in U.S. 43
