CROW, Robert 42,43
- Marriage: Unknown
- Died: Abt 1926, Middlesborough Yks 43
General Notes:
Robert was commissioned in the military in or during the Great War and married an extravagant Middlesbrough wife (sic), he had apparently ideas and tastes beyond his purse always. He started a garage business (ostensibly to join him in which his brother James came south for the first time in his life) but his way of life got him into financial difficulties and he ended his life by hanging himself in the garage circa 1925/1926. Robert's brother relative affluence disappeared on clearing up the mess. Robert had one son Graham, ironically now a retired bank manager, and typically that branch of the family calls itself "Crowe". 43
