1881: The census has Helen visiting with her sister Eliza Millar Crow and John Lugton at the Rooms of Coach House, St Cuthberts, Edinburgh ELN. This couple were residents of Cove Village, Cockburnspath BEW. There are two entries for Helen and one would assume she was visiting her sister and then went home for the census taker to note her a second time.
Information from the Eyemouth Disaster shows that Helen and Richard had four children. 43
Helen married Richard GORDON on 1 Jan 1873 in Edinburgh, Edinburgh Sct. (Richard GORDON was born about 1849 in Dunbar Haddington Sct 43 and died on 14 Oct 1881 at sea Off Eyemouth Bew Sct 43.)
