Taken from Foulden PR's - relative to Sunday. George Crow, lawful son of James Crow and Helen Liddell his wife was born at Foulden West Nains February 23rd 1826 and he was baptized by the Reb. David Ure Burgher Minister in Ayton before the congregation.
George Crow, Farm Servant and Sophia Millar daughter of James Millar Shepherd of Edington Hill, he in this Parish and she in the Parish of Chirnside. Proclamation on the 13th, 20th April 1851.
1881: George and Sophia are living at Cockburnspath Berwick, he is 55yrs and born at Foulden Berwick. Sophia is born at Chirnside. their children Sophia 18yrs is born at Oldhamstocks, Haddington; Isabella 15yrs born at Coldingham; James Fairbairn is 8yrs and born at Cockburnspath Berwick; George Crow Fairbairn is 6yrs and born Cockburnspath; Richard Gordon 6yrs is born Cockburnspath, these 3 children are grandchildren of George and Sophia. 43
