Johanna was born in 1865 at Spring Hill, Leichhardt Street, Brisbane. Information given for the certificate of birth was from Joseph, Father of Leichhardt Street, Spring Hil, Brisbane. Joseph was born at Logey/Logie, Stirlingshire 34 yrs of age and Agnes Eadie 32 yrs born at Carlisle Cumberland. Children living at that time were Elizabeth 10 yrs; Ellen 8 yrs; Malcolm 6 yrs; Agnes Eadie 2yrs, one daughter is deceased at that time.

Johanna was born 6 Oct 1865 at Spring Hill, Brisbane. She married George CROW 5 June 1886 at Gympie the year after George came to Australia. Johanna and George after the births of their children followed the gold and eventually moved to Charters Towers where the majority of her decendants live today. ⁴³
